Find your ritual

One ritual, for every skin.

The cleansing oil and the serum are made gentle enough for every skin type. The oils in each bottle stay the same; what changes is the scent. So choosing comes down to three questions.

1 · Your skin

How does your skin feel?

01

Dry

Feels tight after washing; drinks up oil.

The Ritual, with the Facial Serum: meadowfoam and rosehip make it a favourite for dry and mature skin. Then Snowfall overnight to seal it in.

02

Normal

Comfortable most days.

The Ritual, in the scent you like best. Add a seal when the air turns cold.

03

Combination

Shine in the middle, dry at the edges.

The three steps, with a light hand: three drops of serum, pressed in where you need it.

04

Oily

Shine by midday.

Oil cleansing suits oily skin too: the oil lifts oil, with no detergent. Then plenty of hydrosol, and the lightest touch of serum.

05

Sensitive

Reacts to scent, or to almost anything.

The essential-oil-free versions, and the softest of the waters: cornflower or German chamomile.

06

Weathered

Sun, wind and travel: tired and dry at once.

The Ritual with the Pomegranate Facial Serum in place of the Facial Serum: pressed fruit-seed oils for sun- and weather-stressed skin.

2 · Your scent

Then choose what it smells like.

The cleansing oil and the serum are scented with essential oils, or made with none. The hydrosol has nothing added: each one is the water distilled from a single flower, and smells only of it. Pick the one you want to breathe in at the end of the day.

Geranium

Green and rosy. With lavender, the scent customers reorder most.

Why one formula suits every skin.

Plant oils differ most in their fatty acids. Two families matter most for skin, and every XO serum blends both.

Lighter · Omega-6

Linoleic-rich oils

Thin, quick to sink in. The Skin Atlas suggests them first for oily skin.

In XO: rosehip, strawberry seed, black currant seed, raspberry seed.

Richer · Omega-9

Oleic-rich oils

Fuller, slower, cushioning. The Skin Atlas suggests them first for dry skin.

In XO: peach kernel, camellia seed, and the butters.
