Two or three sentences from the founder: why she made it, in her words. This one is not ghost-written.

XO Botanicals makes skincare from plants: oils cold-pressed from seeds and kernels, butters from nuts, and the waters left when flowers are distilled. Organic and wildcrafted, with no soaps, detergents or fillers, and hydrosols with no preservatives.

The line is small on purpose: four steps, six products, in the scents of the plants they come from, and most of them also made with no essential oils added.

How we decide

For the product, not the margin.

Nothing to fill the bottle

A large brand's formula starts from a cost sheet. Ours starts from the oils: organic, cold-pressed from seeds, kernels and fruit, each one there for what it gives the skin.

Every oil in every bottle is in the XO Encyclopedia of Botanicals: where it grows, what it gives the skin, and its plate. Nothing on the label is there to hide behind.
